TEEX is national and global hub for their training program and the new Brayton training building provides modern learning technologies for both students and staff. The Brayton training field is sure to provide premier skills to all who attend and we are proud to be working on this project with Texas A&M and PBK.
Groundbreaking on the new Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) Brayton Fire Training Field in College Station!
February 21st 2022, Bartlett Cocke General Contractors broke ground on the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) Brayton Fire Training Field in College Station!
The building will be 38,692 square foot and provide classroom and office space. The first level will include an interactive lobby and EMS pod, adjustable classroom pods, and a gift shop. The second floor is where the faculty offices will be located, along with a computer lab and parents’ room.
The new training building will be fully equipped with interactive modern learning devices and conference capabilities. The classrooms and offices allow students and staff to utilize upgraded audio/visual technology for increased effectiveness of online and blended courses. In addition, the new classroom seating will more than double the current capacity to 560 students.
A&M officials say that the new Brayton Fire Training Field will “enhance the student experience” and provide “greater access to advanced training methods.” TEEX is a top-tier public safety/public services training organization and Bartlett Cocke General Contractors is proud to take on this project, alongside PBK Architecture and A&M university.
