Breathtaking Academic & Music Hall
UT Rio Grande Valley asked us to build their new Academic & Music Hall. We jumped at the chance to build a music hall, something we’re not often asked to do. Acoustics is interesting science, and it was quite an experience learning the ins and outs of those concepts while working with them on a real project. We always welcome new knowledge, as it only stands to expand our expertise further.
The Details
The UT Rio Grande Valley Academic & Music Hall, once finished, could be considered a work of art. At 111,763 square feet, it’s as practical as it is beautiful and applicable. The greatest challenging in the building process to ensure we were creating something that both served the public and students, who would interact with the facility in profoundly different ways. With the help of some incredible designs, we achieved that equilibrium in the construction.
