A CTE Showcase Campus.
Hays CISD’s newest high school supports 2,250 students from grade 9-12. Core grade levels are consolidated, especially 9th grade, to build class cohesion and reduce travel time during passing periods. The building is organized around a centralized atrium that acts as both an organizing feature and brings additional daylight for instructional spaces. Moe and Gene Johnson High School incorporates extensive Career and Technical Educational facilities that are clustered around maker spaces and other spaces that encourage collaboration.
