The Judge Guy Herman Center for Mental Health was built to provide support for Travis County’s first responders and emergency healthcare workers by establishing a new access point in psychiatric care. We take great pride in playing a role in helping those in crisis be able to receive stabilization, assessment and treatment in a secure, protected residential environment.
The Details
Healthcare construction is multi-faceted, multi-disciplined, and multi-tiered. That means that the chance of failure is high due to its many moving parts and the need for clear and constant communication. We worked alongside the firm Duke Garwood Architects to build this 12,000 SF facility that was the recipient of the Austin Chapter AGC Outstanding Construction Award.
