The Details
The Maria Del Carmen Martinez Early Learning Center is a school designed with the intention of helping to provide PreK age children with the building blocks for their journey in education. This building is unlike any other traditional school as it is built with a Neighborhood theme with 4 houses in each pod. The building is constructed of brick, structural steel, insulated metal panels, standing seam roof, TPO roofing along with clearstory ceilings in each Neighborhood to allow for natural light to enter the space. Interior space utilizes ceramic wainscot throughout the corridors, aluminum store front doors and windows, security film on all exterior and interior storefront entrances, LVT with custom insets utilizing water jetting for a perfect fit and look. With building a new type of school comes with new challenges that require a contractor that can coordinate, adapt and overcome the day-to-day challenges that might arise, Bartlett Cocke General Contractors is that contractor.
