Leadership Promotions Strengthen Bartlett Cocke Team

March 5, 2026- Bartlett Cocke General Contractors is pleased to announce leadership updates that reflect the continued growth of our teams and the strength of our people. These promotions recognize individuals who have consistently demonstrated leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering projects that reflect the Bartlett Cocke standard.

Please join us in congratulating Ryan Kahn and Michael Garza on their well-earned promotions and expanded responsibilities.

Michael Garza has been promoted to Senior Project Manager and will lead a Higher Education / Healthcare project in the San Antonio Region for UT San Antonio. This promotion reflects Garza’s continued leadership, technical expertise, and the respect he has earned from both our teams and our clients throughout his career with Bartlett Cocke.

With recent leadership transitions and a retirement in San Antonio, we had a clear need for experienced senior oversight in this important market. Higher education remains a core focus area for our company’s growth. Garza’s deep understanding of institutional projects and his ability to lead complex teams make him well positioned to support this important work.

In this role, Garza will help ensure we continue delivering strong results and consistent quality in one of our most important sectors. He brings experience delivering complex institutional projects and a steady leadership style that reflects our standards for disciplined execution. Throughout his career, Garza has also been a strong advocate for safety, quality, and accountability on our projects, helping reinforce the standards that define how Bartlett Cocke delivers work across Texas. His commitment to doing things the right way continues to set an example for our teams and contributes to the strong reputation our projects carry throughout the industry.

Ryan Kahn has been promoted to Director of Quality and will lead the corporate objective focused on quality.

Kahn brings broad experience across project management, preconstruction, VDC, and Integrated Construction, along with a deep understanding of how our projects are planned, set up, and delivered from inception through turnover. He understands not only how we build, but how our systems, processes, and technology are intended to support predictable, high-quality outcomes.

In this role, Kahn will apply that experience through a quality lens across the entire project life cycle. His focus will be raising the bar on quality performance by driving consistent execution and strengthening accountability across all teams. A key priority will be ensuring we fully leverage the tools, processes, and technology already embedded in our operations, from preconstruction planning to field quality controls and turnover documentation, so that quality is proactive, measurable, and repeatable on every project.

Quality is fundamental to building safer, faster, and better. By aligning our people, processes, and technology around a clear and consistent standard, Kahn’s leadership will help elevate performance across every region and every project.
