The site of the new University Health Center – Downtown, Robert B. Green Campus is comprised of three existing, connected buildings, a central plant/bus barn building and an annex building located across from the main campus. All of the buildings, with the exception of the annex and central plant, are occupied by a mixture of clinical, administrative and public functions. The intent of the Capital Improvement Program is to relocate and consolidate the majority of the clinics and diagnostic functions into discrete facilities.

Bartlett Cocke General Contractors was selected to build a new, seven-story LEED certified Clinical Services Building (CSB) totaling over 300,000 SF. The CSB houses a new Ambulatory Surgical Center as well as the following clinics: Dental, ENT, Express Med, FFACTS, Family, Imaging (CT, Interventional Radiology (IR), and MRI), Mental Health, Woman’s Health and Vision. The adjacent existing structure was converted into a 16,000 SF pharmacy.

In addition to Preconstruction and Construction phase services, Bartlett Cocke General Contractors also provided extensive Design Assist Services, which fostered collaboration amongst key subcontractors, architects/engineers, stakeholders and the owner.
