The new Northside Dining Facility was constructed to replace an existing outdated dining facility on the campus of Sam Houston State University. The 31,677 SF, two-story dining facility includes six serving stations, 640 seats, campus bakery, multipurpose meeting rooms and administrative offices.
Designed by Tipton Associates, the dining facility was completed on an active, occupied campus. With safety as the number one concern for the students and faculty, Bartlett Cocke General Contractors took great strides to ensure a safe and secure construction site. The construction was conducted in phases with a high degree of advanced planning. We provided creative solutions to improve the quality and speed of project delivery while minimizing the impact of construction on the campus and in the surrounding community.
