On March 5th, the San Antonio chapter of the American Subcontractors Association held it’s 20th Annual Excellence in Construction Awards Banquet at Pearl Stable.
Bartlett Cocke General Contractors’ Project Manager, Brent Dawson was awarded Outstanding Project Manager of the Year. Brent has been with us for seven years, beginning his career with us as an estimator on many different projects ranging from K-12 education, higher education, healthcare and government projects. After five years of estimating, Brent desired to go out into the field as an Assistant Project Manager and has since been promoted to Project Manager. He continues to achieve success through developing strong partnerships and building rapport with clients, architects, engineers and vendors while maintaining project cost. It is important to Brent that everyone succeed and reach their goals; therefore, he takes the “team approach” and builds the best team possible, with every team member realizing that they are in this together. This includes the Owner, the user groups, the Architect, Bartlett Cocke General Contractors and all of the subcontractors. He empowers people around him by establishing small goals or milestones that eventually lead to larger goals once thought to be unattainable.
Currently Brent is keeping busy with his team on multiple projects for the Boerne ISD 2013 District-Wide Bond program.
Congratulations Brent, we’re proud of you – keep up the good work!
